What services do you offer?

We are a full service travel agency / tour operator, which means we can arrange everything from the accommodation and flights to booking your guide and arranging complete itineraries (which is what we usually do). However, if you want your international tickets, it is usually best to go through your local travel agent or visit some of the sites on the web.

How do I book or get a quote from you?

Just send us an email and remember to include the following details:

Do I need a visa to come into Egypt?

Yes, however it is always a good idea to check with us first if you have to get it before you arrive or whether you can just buy it at the airport when you arrive.

When is the best time to travel to Egypt?

Usually the leaset expensive time to travel is around May and September, when the weather is not too hot and it is still considered the Summer season. But if you want the best weather, travel around October through December.

What is the tipping policy usually?

Generally, tip what you would at home, at Radamis Travel we tell our guests that tipping is to show someone their service was worth a little extra to you, otherwise don't tip.

Do women have to cover up when out in public?

Only at religious sites, such as mosques and some churches. Otherwise, by all means, wear what you would at home.

Can we drink the water?

Tap water in Egypt is perfectly safe, however in most places tap water is treated Nile water or desalinated sea water, and if not treated properly could cause you stomach upsets. To be on the safe side, stick with mineral water for drinking, and only use tap water for washing.

Is it safe to walk in the streets at night?

Very safe. With the rare occasions, most Egyptians are very friendly and will help a traveller whenever possible.
