Alexandria
The second largest city in Egypt was founded by Alexander the Great in 331 BC and became the capital of Greco-Roman Egypt, its status symbolized by the shining beacon of the Pharos Lighthouse, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Since then Alexandria has declined and risen once again to become a metropolitan focus for maritime and commercial expansion taking on the cultural heritage of many immigrants from Greece, Italy and the Levant.

Luxor
A city that can only be described as the world's greatest open-air museum, filled with awe-inspiring monuments of ancient civilization. Aswan
Here the Nile is at its most beautiful, Egypt's sunniest southern city and ancient frontier town is small enough to walk around and has a distinctively African atmosphere. This ancient city is famous for being home to the temple of Isis on Philae Island and the Old Cataract hotel which is featured in Agatha Christie's "Death on the Nile."

Sinai - Sharm El Sheik
The gateway between Asia and Africa, the Sinai Peninsula has been famous throughout time for being a strategic location and a relgious haven. Today it is known throughout the world as home to some of the best dive locations and resorts. While there are many places to visit, the most famous and by far the largest is Sharm El Shiek. The Red Sea Coast - Hurghada
