At Radamis Travel we believe in excellence. We have always considered ourselves Ambassadors of Egypt, always trying to leave our clients with the best memories of Egypt. Our highest aspiration is that we can leave a guest with stories to tell their grandchildren on warm summer nights of a land both ancient and new.
Our Chairman and President, Ambassador Hassan Abou-Seeda (the former Egyptian Ambassador to the UK, 1980-84) began our group of companies in 1991 starting with Radamis Floating Hotels. He found it was not enough to get great service only on your cruise, the entire trip had to be great to leave the kind of impression of Egypt he wanted.
In 1992 Radamis Travel was founded and quickly became a member in ASTA (the American Society of Travel Agents) and USTOA (United States Tour Operators Association). Both of these international travel associations are considered to have the highest ethical standards in the travel industry worldwide.
What are we and what can we offer?
We are an Egyptian category A (highest rating given out by Egyptian Tourism Ministry) tour operator / retail travel agent, which means we can provide you with any travel service within Egypt and outside of Egypt as well. We have partners in South Africa, Kenya, Turkey, Greece, Jordan, Palestine and Israel. We also do Hajj and Umra for muslim pilgrims from all over the world, Holy Land visits for clients wishing to combine Israel and Egypt and can combine any variation of countries within this area.
If it sounds familiar, that is because it you've probably heard Verdi's famous opera Aida. Aida's tragic love and in this amazing opera is an Egyptian general named Radamis (sometimes spelled Radamese). However, fiction aside there was a general in the armies of Ramses II, named Radamis, who according to legend is buried somewhere within the Valley of the Nobles on the West Bank, Luxor.
